Slate Roofing

We re-roof and fit new roofs on all types of properties, in all kinds of slate, ranging from Cornish natural slate (delaboles) to man-made fibre cement slate.
All slates are fixed with two copper nails or stainless hanger clips which are a cheaper alternative.

If the original roof slates are in good condition, but slipping because of nail fatigue, we can salvage all good quality slates, making up numbers with similar slates.
This is a good alternative, especially if the property is a listed building.

A range of slate under felts are available from F1 bitumen reinforced to Tyvek breathable felt which aids ventilation and prevents timber deterioration.

Our skills in slating, combined with leadworking skills, make our roofs aesthetically pleasing and also very resistant to all weather conditions.

All slate roofs are guaranteed for at least 10 years.

Tile Roofing

We fit all types of new tiles, from small handmade clay tiles to new concrete interlocking tiles, Re-roofs and New-builds, working from Architects plans.

Sheet Leadwork

Properly made and fixed leadwork can last for up to 100 years or more.
Our leadwork ranges from complete roofs on listed buildings and churches, to lead valley gutters, dormer windows and step flashings.

No job is too big, too small or too complicated for us.

We work in sandcast and milled lead sheet.

We can also make and supply to other builders and roofing contractors. E.g. aprons, saddles and back gutters, etc. From precise supplied measurements.

We are fully skilled in bossing and leadburning (welding).

All work is carried out to The Lead Development Association Guide Lines, and is guaranteed for 15 years.

Fibreglass Roofing

A properly laid fibreglass roof should last for 30 years with no measurable deterioration.

Fibreglass roofing system is used as a long lasting alternative to felt flat roofs, and also hard-wearing surfaces for balconies and verandas with an added non slip surface.

It can also be used for a variety of other roofing projects. I.e. pitched roofs, parapet capping, wall cladding and water tank boxes.

The finished top coat is normally grey, although a wide choice of colours is available.

All fibreglass flat roofs are guaranteed for 10 years.

Bitumen Felt Roofing

All our felt flat roofs are carried out using high performance torch-on felt.
Using either two or three built-up layers of felt, all edging is made with green, grey or brown torch on mineral felt.

The top finish can be coloured mineral felt or solar reflective coating.
